# Visual Studio Code Localization

You've found the Visual Studio Code Localization GitHub repository which contains the resource files for building language packs and produced language packs.
Localized resource files are pulled from [Transifex](https://www.transifex.com/microsoft-oss/). Language packs will be published to [VS Code Marketplace](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/VSCode)

If you are looking for the VS Code product GitHub repository, you can find it [here](https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode).

## Visual Studio Code

[VS Code](https://code.visualstudio.com/) is a lightweight but powerful development environment for building and debugging modern web and cloud applications. It is free and available on your favorite platform - Linux, Mac and Windows.

If you landed here looking for other information about VS Code, head over to [our website](https://code.visualstudio.com) for additional information.

## Contributing to the localization

To contribute on translation of your language, please visit [https://aka.ms/vscodeloc](https://aka.ms/vscodeloc) for instructions and guidelines.
Visual Studio Code project in Transifex is the single source of the truth of translation. Any change to translation needs to be made there. This GitHub repository is for engineering purpose only.

## Feedback or report issue of Visual Studio Code language pack model

If you want to give feedback or report issue, please create a [new GitHub issue](https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/issues) (try to check if there isn't a topic about your issue already). And lable it as 'i18n' for visibility.
